The success of societies and civilizations depends on their economic, social, ethical, and spiritual operations and infrastructure. All these aspects are inter-related and indispensable. The market, as the economic foundation, constitutes a prerequisite bedrock. Yet, market structure, operation, and framework relies on value scales, ethics, and social integration. Until now, the evolution of human operations seems to have unfolded in a largely intuitive and even instinctive manner. Competition, for example, remains a default value in all our societies and in almost all activity areas, even though collaboration systematically offers significant advantages. See also "Collaboration". Industrialization, for example, has brought many important benefits to humanity, but when the most profitable industry is that of war and destruction, everyone may be led to reflect on and question many underlying aspects and values. Phenomena such as pollution and the destruction of soils and ecosystems, in which we live or try to survive, can lead to significant questioning. See also "Artificial Knowledge & Intelligence" section 7.2.4 and its subsections. The goal is neither to judge nor to condemn, but rather to understand so that we can learn to do better. Not to destroy anything, but to build everything. The solution to major challenges necessarily involves understanding their causes, effects, and issues, but also the reflection and creativity required to resolve them. What are the foundations of a market that ensures the sustainable prosperity and solidarity of 8, 10, or 15 billion free human beings, on Earth, for generations to come? Despite their respective importance and relevance, gathering and hunting, agriculture, and industrialization have successively demonstrated their limitations and their inability to satisfy current demand. Additional creativity is therefore necessary. With its natural model, rooted in the structure of reality and evolution, knowledge processing with its natural and artificial processors, its intelligent collaboration infrastructure, and its knowledge market, this document proposes an appropriate and validated path to be implemented gradually, on a large scale before it is too late. |
